Gotra for Governor collects the following personal information from supporters and website visitors:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number (for SMS/text messaging opt-in)
• Mailing address (street, city, state, ZIP code)
• Employer and occupation (required by RI campaign finance law for contribution reporting)
• Donation amount and payment method (processed securely through Stripe)
• Event RSVP and attendance information
• Volunteer preferences and availability

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

• Sending campaign updates, event invitations, and reminders via email and SMS
• Processing and recording campaign contributions in compliance with RI campaign finance law
• Coordinating volunteer activities and event participation
• Sending Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) reminders before elections
• Communicating important campaign news and calls to action
• Fulfilling legal reporting requirements to the RI Board of Elections

By opting in to SMS messaging, you consent to receive text messages from Gotra for Governor at the phone number you provided. Message types include:

• Event confirmations and reminders
• Community engagement updates
• Election reminders and polling place information
• Campaign updates and calls to action

Message frequency: Approximately 1-5 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP.

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information, including mobile numbers, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your information is shared only when required by law, such as:

• RI Board of Elections campaign finance reporting (contributor name, address, employer, occupation, and amount are publicly disclosed per RI law)
• Payment processing through our secure payment provider (Stripe)
• As required by court order or legal process

Donation payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. All other personal data is stored securely and accessible only to authorized campaign staff.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16 without parental consent.
